We had several 4-H winners from our school in the public speaking contest today held at Pump Springs Baptist Church.  Cody Long, Becky Starrett, and Keisha Martiin were all Blue Ribbon winners and Sarah Mason was a Red Ribbon winner.  The best part was Cody Long won first place in the County for the 6th grade division and Keisha Martin was first runner-up.  Comments were made on how well dressed the students from Heritage Baptist Academy were, how good their manners were, and how well they performed.  They really made us proud!!!

Heritage students went to the Park as a reward to the children for doing very well in our Fund Raiser.  Everyone had a wonderful Day !!!

Heritage Celebrates Veterans Day

  • Rev. Bill Duncan lead the opening prayer and Gave a tribute to the Veterans.
  • 7th Grade held the Presentation of Colors
  • Becky Starrett led the Pledge to the American Flag
  • Edee Cupp led the Pledge to the Christian Flag
  • Stan Leonard sang the "National Anthem" and "God Bless America"
  • "Nifty Fifty" and "This Land is Your Land" was sung by the Students
  • The 6th Graders sang "America the Beautiful"
  • The 4th Graders sang "America"
  • Scott Marlow was our Guest Speaker
  • Headmaster Gail Leonard opened and Closed the Program

 

We were very proud to have our Veterans at our School, but we are even more proud to have them serve our Country.
